If you are an active duty, reserve, or retired Marine new to the Dallas/Ft Worth area, welcome to the Metroplex Marines. We are a close-knit group of crusty old Marines whose members span from World War II to Korea, to Viet Nam, to Iraq/Afghanistan and everything in between. The mission of the Metroplex Marines Coordinating Council (MMCC) is to support local military personnel– regular, reserve, and retired; and to support military support charities and volunteer organizations. In short, we don't wait around for some one to take care of things– we take charge (General Order #1) and take care of our own. This is the best place in North Texas to network,  find support for our military members, or just share the comraderie of over 7 decades of Marine service.

We normally hold monthly meetings at 1200 noon of the first Thursday of each month at the TEXO Building (11101 N. Stemmons Freeway Dallas, Texas 75229).  We serve a terrific luncheon ($10 donation) and learn about what events are going on in the DFW area that we as Marines need to know about. Please come and join us for a few war stories as well as finding opportunities for us to give back to our own.

The MMCC Web site was created to convey information on events, support organizations, and job postings in the DFW area. It was built to serve the  Marines and other service men and women in the DFW area who are either in need of support or are looking for ways to volunteer. To view the most current event information and career opportunities, click on the Resources tab above.

Look forward to seeing you at the next meeting or, if you are in need of information about local support options, send an email to info@metroplexmarines.org. Additionally, click below to subscribe to our ALMAR mailings with upcoming events and opportunities.
