College Credit for Heroes- Tarrant County College

Good afternoon,

My name is Ryan Kelly; I am the Program Coordinator at Tarrant County College for the College Credit for Heroes.  This program is a state initiative through the Office of the Governor and Texas Workforce Commission to assist veterans in earning credit for military service, and develop accelerated courses to complete a degree.   A military servicemember or veteran at Tarrant County College in one year will complete an Associate's of Applied Science in Fire Technology, Fire Academy, and EMT Training. This insures them to be highly employable as a firefighter. The accelerated firefighting program begins in January 2014, and will finish the degree requirements by December 2014.   I have attached information on the program.  Here is the link to the state website on College Credit for Heroes: https://www.collegecreditforheroes.org/ I look forward to talking with further on the program.  Thanks for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Ryan Kelly
