We normally hold monthly meetings at 1200 noon of the first Thursday of each month at the TEXO Building (11101 N. Stemmons Freeway Dallas, Texas 75229). We serve a terrific luncheon ($20 donation) and learn about what events are going on in the DFW area that we as Marines need to know about. Please come and join us for a few war stories as well as finding opportunities for us to give back to our own.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. It was founded in 1947 by reservist Major Bill Hendricks.
The Metroplex Marines Coordinating Council (MMCC) plays a crucial role in supporting Toys for Tots.
MMCC often plays a significant role in supporting and mentoring JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) programs. In Dallas, TX, there are several ways veterans might get involved with JROTC units. We ssist with training exercises, offer career advice, or help with administrative support. Veterans bring a wealth of experience and discipline that can greatly benefit the cadets.
The Metroplex Marines Coordinating Council (MMCC) plays a vital role in supporting veterans in our community through various programs and initiatives.
